Though relatively unknown here, Giottos tripods and ballheads has been a rage over in the UK and US, due to glowing reviews in Photography magazines. In the July 2008 issue of Digital Camera Magazine, the 9351B has been rated a 20% higher compared to it’s main rival, the 190XProB (93% vs 72%)

After querying Giottos, we’ve found out that unlike many tripod manufacturers, they prefer to under rate the maximum loads of their tripods to ensure maximum stability, and indeed, they do provide more stability in independent tests performed by the magazines.
